When do you host weddings?

The Walnut Grove is available for weddings 7 days a week (with the exception of holidays) during the months of mid March to mid November. We only host one (1) event a day so the property is available for you to schedule your wedding at any time during the day, up until 10:00pm. All events must end at 10:00pm due to City and County ordinances. A typical timeline is 4:30pm to 10:00pm (4:30pm ceremony, 5:00pm to 6:00pm cocktail hour, and 6:00pm to 10:00pm reception followed by 10:00-11:00 cleanup). We also include an additional 2.5 hours prior to your event for use of the bridal suite, groom's outdoor lounge and grounds for photos.

How late can we stay?

The Ventura County Noise Regulations require us to have all music off at 10:00pm but the property will remain open until 11:00pm for clean-up and the removal of all personal items. Overnight parking is welcomed. All cars must be picked up by 12:00pm noon the next day.

It is hard to predict what Mother Nature will bring but usually, in the fall, typically late November (when we are closed for the season) the leaves on the walnut trees fall and do not return until the spring. We start to see the leaves returning in May and usually fully leaved by mid July depending on the weather and the previous winter.
